When you submit a report on Vettd, we collect: the company name, job title, approximate date of application, and the outcome you experienced. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any identifying information unless you voluntarily contact us. We also collect standard server logs (IP addresses, browser type, pages visited) for security and analytics purposes.
2. How We Use Your Data
Report data is used solely to calculate aggregated statistics (ghost rates, response rates, report counts) that are displayed publicly on company profile pages. We do not sell individual report data to third parties. Aggregated, anonymized trend data may be shared with researchers or published in reports about hiring transparency.
3. Anonymity
Reports are anonymous by design. We do not link reports to individual users. Once submitted, a report cannot be traced back to you by Vettd, other users, or the companies referenced. We strongly advise you not to include any personally identifiable information in your report.
4. Cookies & Analytics
Vettd uses minimal analytics to understand how the site is used (page views, search terms). We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not sell your browsing data to advertisers.
5. Data Retention
Submitted reports are retained indefinitely to maintain the integrity of historical data. If you submitted a report and wish to request its removal, contact us at contact@vettd.work. We will make reasonable efforts to locate and remove the report, though we cannot guarantee removal if the data has been aggregated.
6. Third-Party Services
Vettd uses Supabase for database storage. Your report data is stored on Supabase servers. Supabase privacy policy governs their handling of that data. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
7. Children
Vettd is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of Vettd after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
