1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Vettd ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Vettd Is
Vettd is a crowdsourced platform where job seekers anonymously share their experiences with employer responsiveness during hiring processes. Vettd aggregates these reports to provide statistical summaries. Vettd does not independently verify individual reports and makes no guarantees about the accuracy of any specific report or statistic.
3. User Submissions
By submitting a report, you confirm that: (a) the experience described is your own genuine, first-hand experience; (b) you are not submitting false, fabricated, or malicious reports; (c) you are not a current or former employee submitting reports designed to harm a company reputation rather than reflect a genuine hiring experience; (d) you will not include any personally identifiable information about yourself or others in your report. Vettd reserves the right to remove any report that violates these terms.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Vettd to: submit false or misleading reports; submit multiple reports for the same experience; harass, defame, or target specific individuals; attempt to manipulate company ratings through coordinated submissions; scrape, copy, or redistribute Vettd data without written permission; attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise the Service.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Vettd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the data on our platform is accurate, complete, or current. Statistics are based on user-submitted reports and should be used as one data point among many when making job application decisions. Vettd is not responsible for any decisions you make based on information on this platform.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vettd and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to decisions made based on report data, reputational claims by companies, or loss of employment opportunities.
7. Company Data & Defamation
Vettd publishes aggregated statistics derived from user reports. We do not publish individual identifying claims. We believe our platform qualifies for Section 230 protections as a publisher of third-party content. However, Vettd reserves the right to remove content that is determined to be false, defamatory, or submitted in bad faith. Companies that believe their data is materially inaccurate may contact us at contact@vettd.work to request a review.
8. Intellectual Property
The Vettd name, logo, and platform design are owned by Vettd. Aggregated data and statistics displayed on the platform are owned by Vettd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Vettd content without written permission.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
